The Tower's; The Penthouse;
Cory's Home
"I am going to grab a gin and tonic, can I bring you
anything?" Cory asks Penny, who is sitting on the sofa in the penthouse with
a simple book in front of her as she is practicing reading brail, which she has
been studying since she lost her vision. "Maybe just some sparkling
water," Penny replies to him. "By the way, while you were visiting Sophie,
Robin stopped by. I
I had no idea that she also went through a period of
time when she was blinded." "It is true," Cory moves back
to the sofa and sits next to her as he sets her sparkling water down on the table
in front of her. "There was an explosion at the lab and she was blinded.
But she kept the faith and her sight came back. It just took some time."
"That's what she was telling me," Penny nods back to her. "It
it
was nice to hear from someone that went through this that their vision came back.
Robin
she's a sweet woman." "Yea, she really is,"
Cory smiles back to her before he takes a sip of his drink. "I'm glad that
you and Robin are getting closer, she's a great friend." "I
see why," Penny looks back at him. "You and I, we were more than just
friends at the farm, Cory. And
if I'm honest, I kind of miss that. Just because
I'm blind doesn't mean that I don't miss being close to you." Cory
sighs back to her knowing that he and Robin made love recently; he still has Penny
in his home because he feels responsible for her being blind in the first place.
"I
I don't know what to say," Cory admits to her. Penny
reaches out and finds Cory's leg before she uses her hand finds his face. She,
then, leans in and kisses him on the lips. "You don't have to say anything,"
she whispers as their lips part. "Just know that I'm here and I miss you."
The Davenport House; Trenyce, BJ, & Albertinah's Home "Thanks
for letting me spend some time with the kids today," Chris tells Trenyce
as he moves into living room of the house that he and Trenyce shared for years.
He has moved out though because he is still coming to terms with the fact that
she slept with Andrew behind his back; however, the recent paternity test confirmed
that he fathered Albertinah, which is grateful for since he can't imagine not
being with the child he thought was his daughter. "Of course,"
Trenyce looks back at him. "They miss you as much as you miss them."
"Yea, I get that sense," Chris sighs back to her. "We've been
through so much, haven't we?" "We have," Trenyce chuckles
back to him. "But, it is like I said Chris, I think everything happens for
a reason; the paternity test, it was a sign." "I know that is
what you believe," Chris replies to her. "I am just glad it turned out
this way; I
I can't imagine not being Tinah's father, she means the world
to me." "She adores you, Chris," Trenyce moves closer to
him. "The same way that I do. I know that I've caused you a world of pain,
but you being Tinah's father, it just makes me think that we were always meant
to be this way, Chris." "I am relieved." "I
know you are," Trenyce nods to him. "But this is our time, Chris. It's
time we put back together this family. The kids, they want you here all the time,
the same way that I do. So, I'm going to ask you: do you think that you can give
our marriage another chance? Do you think that we can put our marriage, and our
family, back together?" The Tower's; Floor Ten; Andrew & Daisy's
Condo "I can't believe we were able to close the deal on this
condo so quickly," Daisy grins over to Andrew as they stand in the sparsely
decorated condo that they just purchased. Daisy had suggested to him that they,
finally, move out of the casino since they still had some money left over from
Vinny's inheritance. Daisy thought, especially, that it would help Andrew have
a new place to live to help him get over the fact that he isn't Albertinah, or
Sonny's, father. Deep down, however, Daisy knows that she switched the paternity
test to ensure that she didn't lose Andrew; she thought that if Andrew knew he
was Albertinah's father, he would reunite with Trenyce. "The timing
was amazing," Andrew chuckles to her. "But Daisy, this place is amazing.
We can really make it our own! I'm so excited!" Daisy moves closer
to him and wraps her hands around his waist. "I haven't seen you this happy
in some time. I guess my suggestion to get out of the casino was a good one?"
"It was the best idea," Andrew grins back to her. "I didn't
realize how much I dreaded that place until we signed the paperwork buying this
place. We are finally out of that casino and away from all the hell that Antonio
put us through, Daisy." "And with everything going on with Tinah
and Sonny, you deserve to have some good news in your life right now," Daisy
tells him. "You're not wrong," Andrew looks back into her eyes.
"Thanks for helping arrange this, Daisy. I needed it more than I realized."
"I would do anything for you," Daisy says as she leans in and kisses
him on the lips. "I hope you know that." "I know,"
he says as their lips part. "How about we break this place in properly?"
"What are you suggesting?" Daisy giggles back to him. "The
kitchen counter?" He lifts her into his muscular arms and sets her
down on the counter as he removes her underwear from under her skirt. "You
read my mind," he says as she lays down and Andrew hikes up her skirt, eager
to have her in every way possible. The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock
Casino
Jacob moves into the restaurant looking to grab some takeout
that he ordered for himself and Cassie. He wants to tell her about the fact that
he told his family that they are married; while Sophie was happy for him, he knows
that Natasha and Shane were not pleased with the news. As he moves closer
to the bar, he can't help but see Isabelle behind the counter doing some inventory.
"I thought the owner of the casino had people to help at the bar," he
chuckles to her as she looks and sees her former husband. "I needed
some information on the inventory for some reporting," Isabelle tells him
as she moves up to him. "Can I get you a drink started?" "Nah,
I'm just here to get some takeout," he reveals to her. "But I don't
mind the company while I wait for my order." Isabelle purses her
lips together. "It has been a while since we connected; how are things?"
"I actually have some news, and I want you to hear it from me."
Isabelle arches her eyebrow back to him. "Alright, what is going on with
you?" "It's about Cassie," he looks back into her eyes.
"We eloped in Las Vegas; we are married." "Oh," Isabelle
gulps heavily back to him. "I was not expecting that news today. I suppose
congratulations are in order." "Thanks," Jacob smiles back
to her. "This is why I wanted you to hear this from me, I know that this
might be a complicated situation for you to navigate." "I'm
fine," Isabelle waves her hand back to him. "I'm also moving on; I had
a great time with another guy recently." "I'm happy to hear
that, because all I want is for you to be happy." "Thanks Jacob,
and congratulations again," Isabelle looks back at him. "I'll go see
why your order is taking so long." Isabelle makes a beeline for the
kitchen, leaving Jacob alone at the bar. Stephanie, who is sitting a few seats
away from him, looks over at him and remembers how they met at the bar a weeks
earlier. Stephanie came to the restaurant to get a drink after her visit with
Dominick and she can't help but continue to find Jacob very attractive. "We
meet again at this bar," Stephanie chuckles to him, as Jacob looks over at
her. "Jacob, right?" "Good memory," he moves next
to her and sits down. "Stephanie?" "You win," she
chuckles again. "I couldn't help but overhear; congratulations on your wedding."
"Oh, thank you," Jacob replies to her. "Cassie, she's a great
woman. I'm very lucky." "She is also a lucky woman," Stephanie
says before regretting the comment immediately." Jacob's cheeks flush.
"That' sweet of you, but you don't know me well enough to make that call."
"I don't have to know you to see that you're a good-looking man,"
Stephanie winks back to him. "So, I stand by declaration; your new wife is
a very lucky woman." "Shucks, well thanks Stephanie," Jacob
nods back to her. "You're good for a guys ego." The Richardson
Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan, & Olly's Home "Was
that Clayton I heard just leaving?" Donovan asks Lukas, who is moving into
the living room of the Richardson estate. Earlier, Donovan was with Sergio and
Lukas was with Clayton as they were updating the men on the custody case. At first,
Donovan was going to use the time to tell Sergio that he and Lukas had sex, but
he decided against it because he didn't want to create more drama than what they
are currently going through why they are fighting to keep Olly. "Yea,
he stopped by to hear how the trial was going," Lukas replies to him quickly
before he moves to the bar to make himself a drink. "How did it go with Sergio?"
"Oh fine," Donovan sighs back to him. "And before you ask,
no, I didn't tell him that you and I slept together last night." "I
see," Lukas looks back at him with intent. "I can't say that I am upset
by that decision; we have enough going on right now for the detective to be upset
with us." "That was my train of thought as well," Donovan
agrees with Lukas. "I think we can both agree that we got caught up in the
moment of having some success in court, but us having sex, it didn't mean anything
else. It was just sex, right?" Lukas finds himself nodding quickly.
"It was just sex," he replies. "Really good sex, but yea, just
sex." "Good then we agree," Donovan says back to him. "What
happened will stay between us and no one else ever has to know." The
Sugarbowl Max sits in the back booth of the coffeehouse with a latte
in front of him. His mind is racing over the fact that Abby has lied to him, and
everyone, for years about him being Sonny's biological father. He can't believe
that Abby would tell everyone that Andrew was the father, even after she thought
the child died when she gave birth. The fact that Abby would allow Andrew to mourn
his child is sick to Max. Now, he is reeling from the fact that he is a father
to a boy that he doesn't even know. "That's why I need to get you,"
he whispers to himself as he looks at a picture of Sonny on his phone. "I've
missed too much time with you already, I won't go another day without you."
He arches his eyebrow when he sees Lois Kam's caller ID on his phone screen.
He quickly answers the call. "Max Black speaking," he says into the
phone. "Ms. Kam, yes, thank you for getting back to me. You'll take my case?
That's perfect, thank you, thank you so much." Detroit, Michigan
Natasha
takes a deep breath before she walks up to the front door of the Rainer house.
She is back in Detroit, desperate to get more information from the owner of the
house about Derek Rainer, whose name was listed under Shane's picture in his high
school yearbook. When she was here a few days earlier, he closed the door in her
face when he heard the name Derek Rainer. When she got back home, Shane had discovered
that she was in Detroit, and he made her promise not to go digging into his past.
She agreed, but she still had so many questions that she needed answers too, so
she has come back. The older man opens the door after Natasha rings the
doorbell. "You're back," he glares at her through the screen door. "I
don't have anything to say to you." "Please," Natasha pleads
with him. "This man," she says as she holds her phone up, showing him
a picture of Shane. "I'm engaged to him, and I need to know why his name
shows as Derek Rainer in his yearbook, but that's not the name that he goes by
now. Can you
please
help me?" "That man in the picture,"
the man replies to her. "His name is Derek Rainer. You're engaged to Derek,"
he says as Natasha feels the blood drain from her face. Twin Peaks
General Hospital "I
I don't believe any of this," a
stunned Dawn admits to Cheresa as they face one another in the cafeteria of the
hospital as they are both on a quick break from their shifts. Cheresa, however,
just told her girlfriend that when she went to Chantel's apartment, it was in
shambles, and she found blood. She called the police, and Simona suspects that
Chantel might have been killed. "Someone broke into Chantel's apartment and
killed her?" "It's wild," Cheresa nods back to her. "That
is what Simona suspects happened based on what she observed at the apartment."
"I don't know what to say," Dawn admits to her. "Why would
anyone want to kill Chantel?" Cheresa shrugs back to her. "Simona
said that it might have been a break-in that went terribly wrong." "Again
though, why would anyone break into Chantel's apartment? It's not like she is
incredibly wealthy? Something about this isn't making sense." "My
head is spinning," Cheresa reveals to her. "I
I have no idea what
to make of any of this." Before Dawn can respond, she hears her cell
phone chime with a new incoming message. She looks at her screen and feels the
blood drain from her face. "My God," Dawn whispers. "It's
it's another message." "What?" Cheresa gasps in horror
as Dawn shows her the screen. "Should I let you squirm before killing you
or finish you off quickly?" "Dawn, this is getting out of hand,"
Cheresa shrieks. "We have to call the police." "If Chanel
is behind these messages," Dawn looks back at her with intent. "Then
this proves that she is alive and well." "Something very strange,
and dangerous, is going on here, and we have to figure it out before someone gets
hurt," Cheresa tells her as she realizes that this situation is getting out
of hand. Dominick's Townhouse "Do you have a plan
of attack, Dad?" Robin asks her father as she stands next to Leah and Tyler
in the living room of Dominick's townhouse still. They are curious as to how they
will find Felicia and bring her back into their lives if she is alive. "Eva
informed me that Frederick is also alive," Dominick reminds his family. "That
son of a bitch has a nasty history of faking his death when it suites his needs."
"That is very true," Tyler tells the family. "When we first
found out that Felicia and Frederick died in the fire at Raven's Meadow, I went
to the Victors mansion and looked around, trying to find some clues of either
of them being alive." "You did? You never told us that,"
Leah looks at him in surprise. "No, I didn't," Tyler replies
to her. "I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to get anyone's hopes
up that Mom was alive. But, I never did find any proof that Frederick of Felicia
alive." "Now that we know that they are alive," Dominick
says. "I think we should all go to the Victors mansion and find Frederick
and Felicia; it's the only logical place that he would have been hiding all this
time." "So we will go to the mansion together?" Leah asks
her family as everyone nods back to her. "Let's go find Felicia and bring
her home, where she belongs." Next on One Day at a Time -
