The Sugarbowl

"So, as you can imagine I have a million things to do before this launch," Cassie looks over at Max before she takes a sip of her coffee. "It's like I'm the only one who is really working on this damn thing, despite the office being full of staff."

Max uneasily chuckles back to her knowing that while she is complaining about how busy she is, he can tell that she is happy to have the work. He hasn't seen his mother this interested in a project in a very long time. "It's good to see you so invested in something again, Mom. After the entire Jacob debacle last year, I was really worried about you."

"I know," Cassie shakes her head back to him. "I still can't believe that I let him use me that way. Even though I think he wasn't using me entirely. There's no way he faked all of those months with me, I know he cared about me. In fact, I think he still does."

Max continues to chuckle to her. "Well, like I said, now that I know I'm not the father to Abby's child, I'm going to put all my attention into getting Paige back. Who knows, maybe when I get Paige back, you and Jacob can reunite?"

Cassie smiles back to him. "I would love that," she admits to him. "If you need any help with getting Paige back, I'd be glad to assist."

Max nods back to her. "I'll keep that in mind, Mom."

The Claus House; Leah & Paige's Home

"I just can't believe that my mother is sleeping your former step father," Paige sighs to Jacob as they stand in the living room of the house she shares with her mother. Paige is still rattled by the news that Jeff shared with her about Leah and Cory's affair; she can't believe her mother would preach to her about who she can see and who she can't see when Leah is seeing Cory. It seems very hypocritical on her part, Paige believes.

"I don't think my Mom is handling the news very well either," Jacob replies to her. "But, I told her that Cory is a grown man and he can make his own decisions."

"Are you defending them?" Paige asks him in surprise. The last thing that she thought Jacob would do is defend Leah and Cory's affair.

Jacob shrugs back to her. "I wouldn't say that," he tells her quickly. "I just think that if we want people, including our families, to accept us dating, then we shouldn't cast judgement on other people just trying to live their lives."

"I suppose that's fair."

"I don't think your Mom and Cory purposely set out to hurt anyone by this," Jacob continues to explain to them. "Sometimes things just happen. Sort of like you and I."

"I do like spending time with you, you're good for me Jacob."

Jacob leans in and kisses her passionately on the lips. "And, you're good for me," he says as their lips part. "Since your Mom isn't home, how about we head upstairs? I can show you just how good you are for me."

Paige giggles as she grabs his hand. "I thought you'd never ask."

Raven's Meadow

Brooke slowly walks up to Greg's office door and prepares to knock. She recalls how the last time they saw one another, Greg told her that they would never be able to get back together because he didn't trust her since she slept with Robbie; at the time, Brooke agreed to stop pressuring him into reuniting, but she is hoping that after some time apart, he will realize that she has been right all along and that they should try to give their marriage another chance.

She opens the door after she knocks twice and sees Greg standing behind his desk with a large box open. "Greg, hi, what's all this?"

"I've decided to step down at Raven's Meadow," Greg looks back at his wife as he moves another personal item in the box. "It's time for a change. In more ways than one, right now."

Brooke arches her eyebrow surprised at this news. "What brought this on?"

Greg shrugs his shoulders. "I've been thinking about it for a while," he admits to her. "After everything that has happened with our family lately, I just want to spend more time at home. I'm sure when I'm ready, I'll get a job at general hospital."

"I had no idea you were thinking about this."

"I guess because I've been staying at the hotel? We don't exactly get to talk about day to day stuff anymore. We've been so focused on the trial and the children."

"That should change," Brooke moves up to him. "The house, it is ours, you should move home."

"Brooke," Greg looks back at her, knowing that she has been pressing him to reunite with her. "I told you that we can't be together anymore. That hasn't changed."

Brooke gulps back to her husband. "I know," she tries to chuckle back to him. "I haven't forgotten. The truth of the matter, Greg, is that our house has so many bedrooms. I'll move out of the main bedroom and into one of the guest rooms. At least until we are settled. What do you say? Come home?"

"I'll think about it," Greg tries to nod back to her. "I just can't make any promises."

"Of course not," Brooke tries to smile back to him. "But it could be the start of healing this family, truly."

The Davenport House; Trenyce's Home

"You have to forgive me and the mess," Trenyce tells Chris as they move into the living room of her house, which has some clothes thrown around as she didn't know what she was going to wear today. The last person Trenyce was expecting to show up on her doorstep this morning was Chris; although, she does realize that she was ignoring his texts the last couple of days so she could try to find a way to think of a way for her to start to trust him again. "I wasn't expecting company this morning and I have a busy day at Robertson Enterprises."

"Its fine," Chris replies to her quickly. "I won't stay long but I had to see you since you haven't been replying to my texts. This is insane Trenyce, how do you think we will get Cheresa back in our good graces if we can't even be on the same page?"

"I've heard all of this before, Chris," Trenyce sighs back to him. "And, I hear what you're saying. I'm just trying to figure out for myself what it will take for me to trust you again. You have to understand that that's not something that will just happen!"

"We've all made mistakes in this situation," he tells her. "You haven't been perfect either."

Trenyce gulps as she recalls how she slept with Brad recently. While the sex was amazing, she knows that no one else can know about that because it would likely cause an even bigger rift between her, Chris and Cheresa. "I didn't claim to be perfect, Chris. I'm just saying, this might take more time."

"Well great," Chris rolls his eyes back to her. "You're the one that keeps saying that we need to act quickly or we might lose our daughter forever. Now, suddenly, this will take more time? I don't get it."

"I'm not going to apologize to you about this Chris," Trenyce snaps back to him. "You're the one that went behind all of our backs and filed that damn restraining order! You did that! And now, you have to face the consequences of your actions! Stop trying to pin this on me!"

"I can see that you're still upset."

"You're damn straight I'm upset! I don't know how many ways I can tell you that I have to figure out if and how I can trust you again," Trenyce calms down from her yelling. "This takes time, you can't just wave a magic wand to make this go away, it doesn't work that way!"

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, okay?" Chris puts his hands up in the air. "I just want to make our family whole again. You can't blame me for that, can you?"

"No, just realize that I need time. And nothing will get better if you don't give me that time."

The Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home

"Dad, I'm so glad that you're home," Dawn hugs her father as they stand in the foyer of the house she shares with her mother. Dawn hadn't seen Adam since he got back from Paris, so she is thrilled to see him.

"Me too," Adam tells her. "And, I hope you like that Eiffel Tower key chain. I couldn't resist getting you a small token from Paris."

"Thanks, I really appreciate that," Dawn smiles as they move into the living room. "Does Mom know that you're home?"

"She does," Adam replies to her. "We saw each other just a day ago."

"And?" Dawn asks him back hoping that her parents have reunited and Robin and Adam are finally over. She has wanted her family back together for as long as she remembers, maybe now they can finally start to heal. Meanwhile, Helen starts to move into the living room from the kitchen but pauses when she hears Adam and Dawn talking. She doesn't want to interrupt, but she also wants to hear how Adam handles Dawn's question; he told her that he was getting back together with Robin but maybe something has changed.

"And what?" Adam chuckles to her. "What are you expecting me to say?"

"I don't know?" Dawn replies to him. "What's going on with you and Robin? Is she still forcing you to stay away from Mom?"

"Robin and I are back together," Adam tells his daughter, who sighs in disappointment. "We are planning our wedding and no, she is okay with me being in your mother's life. She knows that Helen plays a big part in my life, there's no way I could stay away from her."

Dawn uneasily sighs back to him again which makes him realize that she's not happy. "Hey, don't give me that," Adam moves closer to her and pulls her into a hug. "You know that you and your mom mean everything to me, but I am in love with Robin and that's where my future is."

"I know, it just hurts still," Dawn admits to him. "I was just hoping our family would be united again."

"I know kiddo, I know," Adam holds her, as Helen leans up against the wall as a tear falls down her cheek, having heard that Adam and Robin are planning their wedding. She, like Dawn, had hoped that she and Adam would reunite and put their family back together but that doesn't seem like it is in the cards. Now, she has to realize that she has to move on, the only problem is that she has no idea how to do that when she knows that Adam is the love of her life.

Robertson Enterprises; The Studio

"Did you get that memo from Dominick about that secret project?" Shane asks Robin as he looks over from the table of paper work he is reviewing and sees Robin also working on some files. He wonders what this project that Dominick wants them to work on together even is but that's also the last thing on his mind; he can't stop thinking about the night he shared with Robin when they were in Paris together. It was amazing for him and he was crushed when she told him that no one could ever know about their night because she and Adam reunited.

"I did," Robin nods back to him. "I think he will use some of the pictures we shot in Paris for this project."

"I don't even know what the project is," Shane chuckles back to him. "But I guess we will find out."

"Yea, we will," Robin looks back to him and smiles. "I should thank you, by the way."

"Thank me? What have I done?"

"You agreed to keep what happened between us in Paris a secret," Robin tells him as she recalls how she asked him to keep their love making between them since she and Adam reunited. The last thing she wants is for Adam to learn the truth, which could hurt their relationship again. "I can't tell you how much that means to me."

Shane feels his cheeks flush a little. "You don't have to thank me," he tells her. "I'm glad to do whatever you want me too."

"I know, I just appreciate it. I know that you had wanted more after our night," Robin says back to him. "And you could have said something to Adam, I'm just grateful, that's all."

"Well then, you're welcome," Shane winks back to her, still wishing that something more could have happened between him and Robin. They lock eyes for a moment as they both clearly stop to think about that night together. Shane looks away, and continues to long for her, more than ever before.

The Calimo Mansion

"How was Sophie last night?" Natasha asks Cory as they move into the living room of the Calimo mansion. Natasha is still fuming about Cory's affair with Leah but they had pre-determined that Sophie would spend the previous night with her father; now that Natasha knows what Cory is up too, she isn't sure that she will let Sophie stay with Cory again.

"She was fine," Cory nods back to her. "She is getting so big, it's almost hard to believe she's our little girl anymore."

"It is true, time is flying by."

"Do you want to talk about the elephant in the room?" Cory asks her as he folds his arms over his chest. He can tell that she is still upset about his romance with Leah coming to light; he doesn't want to hide anything, in fact, he wants her to be as open and honest as she can be.

"You mean the fact that you're sleeping with Leah?" Natasha asks him back. "Please, tell me you didn't keep your mistress over last night to confuse my daughter."

"Of course not," Cory rolls his eyes back to her. "I would never do such a thing."

Natasha uneasily chuckles back to him. "At least you haven't lost all of your decency!"

"Oh come on, Nat! Stop being so dramatic," Cory barks back to her. "Leah and I getting together isn't the end of the world, for crying out loud."

"It has made me seriously question everything I have ever thought about you," Natasha admits to him. "The fact that you can stand there and tell me that you don't see the concern is even more alarming. And what's crazy is that you know I'm right, that's why you and Leah were keeping this a secret from everyone!"

"We wanted our business to be our business," Cory tells her. "Look, you and I have been over for some time now, why does it matter who I am seeing?"

"Because!" Natasha squeals to him. "It's the fact that you chose a woman that has very close connections to me and my family! Her father, for example, has a grudge against my family for decades! You know what? I'm not getting into this, not right now. I have enough going on at Roboto!"

"Nat… I don't want to fight with you about this."

"I don't either but Cory, I have to tell you that this is making me question whether or not you and Sophie should be alone together."

"Nat, don't do that, don't bring Sophie into this!" Cory yells back at her.

"You did this Cory," Natasha yells back at him. "Don't forget that! You and your mistress have brought this all on! And there might be consequences to your new found affair."
