The Sugarbowl

Andrew walks into the coffeehouse looking for another coffee to start his day. He didn't sleep well the previous night as he couldn't stop thinking about his last conversations with Chris, Trenyce aboutAbby. He finally told Chris and Trenyce that Abby is pregnant and they encouraged him to do the right thing where the child is concerned; of course, the last time he saw Abby, he asked her to abort the pregnancy, which didn't sit well with her. He knows now that he over stepped by suggesting that to her, he was just lashing out at her for everything that she did to ruin his romance with Albertinah and forcing her to leave town.

As he puts a lid on his coffee he happens to look over at the window seat and sees Abby slowly picking at a cinnamon bun as she looks out the window, clearly in deep thought. He sighs and knows that he has to make things right with her, sooner rather than later.

"Do babies like cinnamon buns?" he asks her as he approaches her.

Abby looks up at Andrew and gulps heavily. She hasn't been able to stop thinking about the fact that she told Max that Andrew is the baby's father despite knowing that she is lying. The paternity test proved that Max is the father but Abby lied to him so she can try to have a chance with Andrew.

She slowly giggles back to Andrew's comment. "I don't know about that but I am enjoying it."

"Do you mind if I sit with you?"

"Uh, sure," she says uneasily to him hoping that this conversation goes better than their last conversation they had. "What's going on?"

"I think we have to talk," Andrew replies to her. "It's time we got a few things straight."

The Pampa Grill

"Are you absolutely sure that Andrew is the father of that baby?" Cassie asks her son as they sit together in the restaurant having breakfast together. Cassie had arranged the paternity test for Abby at the medical clinic once Max confessed to her that she wasn't sure who the father was; now, Max is telling her that the test showed that Andrew is the father of Abby's child.

Max nods back to her. "I was with Abby when she got the test completed, they used my DNA to compare it to the baby's," he explains to his mother before he takes a sip of his coffee. "I don't know why she would lie to me about the rest results."

"Trust me," Cassie uneasily looks back at him. "Women sometimes do unimaginable things to get what they want."

Max chuckles back to her as he thinks about her sorted history. "After everything Abby and I have been though, Mom, I believe that she's telling the truth. I'm not the father of her baby."

"Okay," Cassie replies to him. "How do you feel about that? What are you going to do now?"

"Honestly, I was upset at first," he admits to her. "I was excited at the idea of a baby but I realize that this is for the best because now I can focus all of my energy on getting Paige back. There's no way that I'm going to lose her to Jacob."

Cassie slyly smirks back to him knowing that she also wants Jacob for herself. "Good, I'm glad you have something to focus on," she tells her son. "Paige would be a fool to turn you down. Just make sure you do whatever you need to do to keep her away from Jacob."

At another table, Robin takes a sip of her orange juice while she reads some of her work emails on her phone. Her mind, however, is on the fact that she and Adam missed timed seeing each other in Paris at the Eiffel Tower; Robin left before Adam arrived and she believed that he had stood her up. In the wake, she and Shane ended up having hot, passionate sex with one another. Only when she returned home did she run into Adam and realize their mishap and now they have agreed to move forward in their relationship. She just can't stop thinking about her night with Shane.

"Sorry if I'm late," a voice calls out from above her. She looks up and sees Shane standing in front of her. "Traffic was busier than usual this morning."

"Don't worry about it," she tells him as he sits across from her. "I was just catching up on work emails."

"I still have a bunch of those to get through myself," he tells her as they lock eyes. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about our last night in Paris, Robin."

"Me either," she admits to him. "But, I saw Adam."

Shane arches his eyebrow back to her. "How'd that go? Did he tell you why he didn't show up at the Eiffel Tower?"

"He was there," she reveals to him, who looks back in surprise. "I left literally as he was arriving. We just missed one another."

"Wow," Shane shakes his head in disbelief. "That means that…"

"While you and I were in bed together, Adam was waiting for me to start our future together."

"Now I feel like a jackass for even telling you that I haven't been to stop thinking about making love to you," Shane feels his cheeks blush with embarrassment.

"Shane," Robin looks back at him with intent. "I need you to promise me that you'll never say anything about what happened in Paris. Our time together, it was a onetime thing, okay? Adam and I are moving forward together now … he can never know about Paris."

Shane uneasily gulps back to her but finds himself nodding back to her. "Okay, if that's what you want, I won't say a word," he manages to say even though he feels like his heart is breaking inside as he had hoped that Robin would come around to the idea of them having a future together.

Chris sits at the bar with a coffee in front of him. He is alone because he didn't hear back from Trenyce about meeting him for breakfast; he had hoped that they could meet to try to see if they could come up with ways to get Cheresa back in their good graces. Moreover, he knows that if he can't get Trenyce to trust him again, they might never get Cheresa back.

"Why aren't you answering your texts?" he asks himself as he looks at the text message he sent Trenyce about having breakfast together. The blue imessage shows "read" so he knows that Trenyce has seen the message; she just hasn't replied to him. "If you're going to ignore me we will never be able to move from this."

"Ugh," he groans as he puts his phone down, not wanting to keep staring at the message thread. "How the hell am I going to get through to you if you won't even message me back?"

Cheresa quickly leaves the restaurant as she just spotted her biological father sitting at the bar; the last thing she wants to do this morning is to have another interaction with Chris or Trenyce. She is still trying to figure out how to process that they are her biological parents. The fact that Chris attempted to get a restraining order against Dawn and that Trenyce is having an affair with Brad are huge red flags for Cheresa; she doesn't want to be around people like that. However, every time she sees Chris and Trenyce, they pressure her into trying to spend time together.

"Hey, Cheresa, where are you off in such a rush?" Brad asks his sister as he moves towards the entry way. Brad hasn't seen a lot of Cheresa lately, really since Brooke's trial. He would love to see where her head is in terms of reuniting with Trenyce so he can report back to her.

"I am late," she lies to her brother. "I have to go."

"Do you want to grab a coffee or lunch or something?" he asks her. "We haven't seen a lot of one another lately. It might be nice to catch up?"

Cheresa sighs and looks back at him. The minute she looks at him, the images of him and Trenyce having sex on the sofa in her living room come flooding back to her. "I'm really busy right now Brad," she replies to him. "I'll see what my calendar is like and I'll let you know."

"Oh okay," Brad uneasily says back to her as Cheresa crawls into her car and quickly drives off. Brad watches her speed off and wonders why Cheresa is now, seemingly, giving him the cold shoulder too. "What's going on with you sis?"

Robertson Enterprises; The Studio

Robin opens the door to the studio and quickly moves inside. After seeing Shane at the restaurant, she came to the office as she has a lot of work to do. Shane, however, went to the hospital as he has a shift there. In Robin's mind, it's good that he has to work at the hospital so they can have some time apart; she knows that asking him to keep quiet about their fling might be more difficult than the request itself.

"I'm glad you're here, I've been waiting for you," a voice calls out, causing Robin to jump.

"Oh my God," she turns and sees Jeff moving up to her. "Jeff, you scared me half to death. What are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry," Jeff looks back at her. "I should have said hi as soon as I saw you."

"Its fine," she waves her hand in the air as she feels her heart rate finally return to normal after the scare. "Do we have a meeting that I forgot about?"

"No," Jeff shakes his head back to her. "Something that has happened that more and more people are finding out about and I wanted you to hear it sooner rather than later."

Robin arches her eyebrow back to him. "What are you talking about? What's happened?"

"Your sister, Leah, is dating someone," he reveals to her. "She's moved on from our marriage."

"Who is Leah dating?"

"You know him very well," Jeff tells her. "He's your ex-husband, Leah is dating Cory."

Robin feels the blood drain from her face at Jeff's admission. "What? Are you kidding me?"

"I wish I was," Jeff admits back to her. "This is why I wanted you to hear it from me. I wanted to be the one to tell you that Leah and your ex are now lovers."

The Tower's; The Penthouse; Cory's Home

Paige steps off the elevator and quickly moves up to the front door of the penthouse. As she prepares to knock on the door, she can't help but think about being at the Robertson Enterprises offices and Jeff arrived to tell her that Leah and Cory were dating one another. Paige can't believe that her mother would date Cory; there is so much history between Cory and the rest of the family, it seems like a crazy idea for Leah to be involved with him. Of course, she then remembers how Leah wasn't at home when she woke up. She only assumes that Leah spent the night with her new found lover.

She slowly knocks on the door needing to get answers from Cory, and hopefully, her mother. Cory eventually opens the door and sees Paige standing on the other side. "Paige, what are you doing here? This is a surprise."

"We have to talk," she moves into the penthouse pushing her way past Cory. "Is my mother here?"

"Uhhh…"

"I'm right here," Leah says to Paige as she comes out of the kitchen holding a cup of coffee. "Paige, why are you here?"

"Dad told me everything," Paige grits her teeth together. "He told me that you and Cory are sleeping together? Is that true? Are you having an affair with Aunt Robin's ex-husband?"

"Paige, this is complicated," Leah tells her daughter as she moves closer to her. "But yes, Cory and I have started to see one another. What you have to understand is that this just happened; Cory and I, we didn't set out to hurt anyone."

"But you realize that's exactly what you're going to do, right?" Paige replies to her mother. "I just don't understand how you can go around and try to dictate to me who I can and can't see and yet you go around and do this?"

"Paige, that is completely different!"

"No, it's not Mom!" Paige yells at her. "You're going to create chaos with this affair and going forward you will never talk to me about my relationship with Max or Jacob and how you may or may not disapprove, is that understood?"

Tyler's Townhouse

"I was hoping that I'd hear from you sooner rather than later," Tyler says to Trenyce as she moves inside his house. He has been hoping to get some kind of an update from Trenyce about Brad's investigation into Daisy's death; it has been a few weeks since he learned that Brad was looking into Daisy's death, so he is curious to know if anything has arose from that.

Trenyce looks at her phone and sees the message from Chris. She puts her phone back into her purse and looks back at Tyler knowing that she will deal with Chris later; she still needs to figure out how to get over the fact that she doesn't trust him right now. "I know, I've just heard from Brad the other day," she reveals to him. "He enlisted Meggan's help to investigate Vinny."

"Really? Why is that?"

"Because years ago, Vinny's twin brothers held Meggan captive years ago there," Trenyce reveals to him. "This happened before you got to Twin Peaks."

"My God," Tyler shakes his head in disgust. "That family has some serious issues."

"You have no idea," Trenyce uneasily chuckles back to him. "Anyways, Vinny claimed that Daisy is still dead, of course. Brad said their next step is to search the house when Vinny isn't around. Meggan will help him with the navigation of the house."

"So there's still a chance she's alive?" Tyler asks holding on to some kind of hope.

Trenyce uneasily gulps back to him. "There is but we have to accept that there might be no leads here Tyler. We might have to face that Daisy is gone forever."

The Sugarbowl

"We can talk," Abby looks back at Andrew, worried about what he wants to talk about. "But, you need to know that I haven't changed my mind about having an abortion. That's off the table, Andrew."

"I know," he uneasily nods back to her. "That's part of what I wanted to say to you; I'm sorry for saying that to you. I shouldn't have suggested that to you. I feel like the biggest asshole in the world."

Abby feels her eyes swell with water at his comments back to her. "Thank you for saying that. I was really upset when you suggested that to me."

"I could tell and you were right, it is your choice. But I'm hoping that we can do this together. I'm going to be a father, I have to start acting like it."

"You mean that?" Abby asks him in surprise. This was the last thing she expected to hear from Andrew today. "You really meant that?"

"I do," Andrew nods back to her. "We are going to be parents, Abby. I almost can't believe it."

Abby pulls him into a hug. "We are going to do this together," she tells him. "You've made me so happy, Andrew. So very, very happy."
