Scene One -- The Calimo House; Robbie, Leah & Paige’s Home

Robbie walks into Paige’s nursery and sees Leah and their new baby rocking in the rocking chair by the window. The sight is beautiful to Robbie, he feels so blessed that he and his wife have this new baby girl. As he watches them, he can’t help but also remember the other day at his house when his family tried to have an intervention with Natasha to try to help her get off the drugs that she is on. His heart breaks when he thinks of how Natasha stormed out but not before telling them all to go to hell. He only hopes that he did the right thing by making the phone he did after she left. He knows that his sister will soon hit rock bottom, and he will be partly to blame for it. After seeing Leah and Paige, Robbie wishes that his entire family could be this blissful.

“You look a million miles away,” Leah says over to him as he continues to stand in the doorway watching the two girls.

“Sorry, I guess I was,” he says walking closer to her and leaning down. “I was thinking about Natasha and the failed intervention we tried to have with her.”

Leah looks back at Paige, who is wide awake in her arms. “There’s nothing more we can do Robbie. She made her decision, we just have to hope that what happens next will make her realize her ways.”

“Can I take her for a minute?” he asks as Leah passes him baby Paige. “You’re such a pretty girl! Daddy loves you very much and I promise I’ll do whatever I can to always protect you.”

Leah stands up and puts her hand on Robbie’s face. She leans in and gives him a quick kiss. “You’re a good man Robbie. Don’t let this Natasha thing beat you up, okay?”

“I’ll try, thanks babe,” he smiles back at his wife.

“This is nice, you know?” Leah says walking over to the crib and folding some of Paige’s blankets up.

“What is?” Robbie asks, as he plays a little with Paige.

“This family time. You, me and Paige. It really is what I’ve always wanted,” she admits to him, feeling her heart grow as she watches Robbie play with Paige.

Robbie stops and looks over at his wife. “This is what I’ve always wanted too Leah. Nothing will ever take this away from us.” Just before he can say anything else, he feels his pager go off. “I have to get that,” he says quickly passing Paige back over to Leah.

“Daddy probably has to go work,” Leah tells Paige as she adjusts her in her arms.

“I have to run,” Robbie replies back over to Leah. “This is about Ryan. It looks like Kim and Will are ready to go with the plan.”

Leah gives him a quick kiss. “Say bye Daddy,” she waves Paige’s hand to him. “Be safe Robbie. We love you!”

“I love you too!” Robbie grins at the door before jolting out of the nursery.

Scene Two -- Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Shane sits at his desk reviewing some files for patients. He looks at the clock and realizes that it’s late, but he had to come back to get some work done before his day began the next day. Plus, when he left home, Cassie was still busy planning their family day for Dawn’s birthday coming up in a few weeks. He still can’t believe that it’s been a year since he’s been a father; the time is going by quickly and Dawn is growing up so quickly.

He hears a knock on his door and looks up and is a little surprised to see Sofia standing at the doorway. “Sofia, please come in. I have to admit, I’m surprised to see you.”

She smiles as she shuts the door and walks over to his desk, “I bet you are.” She sits down and looks at him closely for a second and can see why Natasha fell head over heels for the young doctor. He’s attractive with dark eyes that someone could get lost in when looking into them. “I really needed to see you though. I hope this is a good time.”

“Of course, I can make time for you. You’re not ill are you? Or Bob?” he asks, wondering what Sofia could possibly be doing in his office this late in the evening.

“We are both fine,” she tells him. “This is about Natasha.”

Even hearing her name makes him feel different. He has tried to hide the fact that he is still in love with Natasha for so long, and he believes he is getting good at it. He has put an honest effort into his marriage with Cassie because of Dawn, but he knows deep down he still loves Natasha. Every time he sees her, he is reminded of that. Even hearing her name pulls at his heart strings. “Natasha? Is she alright?”

“I’m afraid not,” Sofia biting her lower lip, trying not to cry. She can’t help but remember the disaster of the intervention she and her family tried to hold with Natasha the other day. “What I’m about to tell you Shane, it must say in this office.”

“Absolutely.”

Sofia pauses again and clears her throat. She realizes that she hasn’t spoken to anyone but Bob about Natasha’s drug use and it’s harder than she expected. “You must have heard the story by now about Natasha’s biological mother.”

Shane nods his head and remembers confronting Eva after the story ran in the paper. “I did. For the record, I gave Eva an earful at the hospital the next day.”

“Thank you. Unnecessary, but thank you,” Sofia tells him, noting another characteristic that would make Natasha love him. “Natasha didn’t take the news very well, as to be expected. She started sleeping with Ryan McQuillan.”

Shane gulps and looks away. He doesn’t like to hear that Natasha was sleeping with another man; not that he expects her to wait for him, but it’s just a topic he doesn’t enjoy.

“To make matters worse, he got her using drugs. Cocaine, to be exact. We have proof,” Sofia continues, finally showing a little emotion. “I’m sorry,” she says. “It’s hard to actually say out loud.”

“It’s okay,” Shane replies as he passes her a box of tissue. “I actually suspected something like this was going because I ran into Natasha recently at the park. I’ve seen the signs so many times working in the hospital. I didn’t have any proof though. Are you absolutely positive that she’s on drugs?”

“We are positive.”

Shane sighs and puts his hand over his face. “I can’t believe this. She’s so much better than that.”

“Bob and I are working very hard to ensure that we get her the help she needs. We tried to have an intervention, but it blew up in our face. She told us all to go to hell and stormed out,” Sofia recalls the disaster to Shane.

“How can I help?”

Sofia looks at him before responding, “Do you think you could talk to her?” Immediately, she can see his apprehension come across his face. “I only ask because I know that you guys were very close at one time Shane. Deep down, I still believe that Natasha loves you. You may be the only one that can save her.”

Shane looks at Sofia and smiles at her before grabbing her hand. “I wish I could Sofia, but I can’t. I have a wife and a baby to think of now. I can’t jump and be the hero for Natasha. It wouldn’t be fair to my family.”

Sofia smiles back at him. “You’re a good man Shane Glubbs. I understand and thank you for being so up front with me.”

“If you need anything else from me,” he tells her.

“I’ll let you know, thank you,” Sofia says standing up and walking away. At the door way she stops and turns around and looks at him. “You and my daughter would have been amazing together.”

Shane looks at her and feels his heart break inside his chest. He looks away as Sofia leaves. He stands up and walks over to his window and looks outside at the night sky. He turns around and finds himself thinking if he and Natasha could be amazing together again.

Scene Three -- City Hall; Daisy’s Office

Daisy holds up a new campaign poster and looks at it. She tacks it to a board in her office and really inspects it. The sign is white and has “Daisy” written in bright blue letters, and “For Mayor” is written below it. She looks at it again before she writes “wrong colour” on the sign. She walks back over to her desk and pulls another sign out from the parcel that she received.

Ever since she got news from her assistant that her popularity polls have dropped she been working on her new campaign to get re-elected, more advice from her assistant that an election is the right thing to do. She can’t say that she doesn’t agree with the decision either; it has been about 4 years since she was elected. She can’t believe that it’s been so long because so much has happened in those years, they have gone by so quickly. What’s more troublesome for her is that her popularity is down because of her family dramas. And there have been a number of them. She hopes that now that her family life is seemingly calm down, her next term as mayor will go much smoother. When, of course, she gets re-elected.

She turns around and sees Chris watching her in the doorway. Before she can say hello, she immediately thinks back to him kissing her the other day when he got home from work and dumping Victoria. The kiss felt so natural to her, but she doesn’t want to fall into hold habits. “Chris, what’s going on?”

“I was in the neighbourhood and wanted to see if you had grabbed dinner yet,” he says as he walks into the office. “Those look like campaign signs.”

“They are,” she smiles to him. “I’ve decided to call an election. I’m running for mayor again.”

Chris arches his eyebrow and wonders if Daisy is making the right decision. He can’t help but remember this last stint as mayor. “Are you sure you want to do that?”

“Of course, why would you even ask me that?”

“Look, don’t take this wrong way Daisy. I know you love your job,” he begins to telling, not wanting to offend her at all. “But this could be your chance to get out.”

Daisy looks at him furious that he would even suggest this to her. He has to know how much she has worked to get into the position that she’s in and how much she loves her job. “I love my job. I don’t want to get out of it!”

“Okay, I don’t want to upset you. I was just on the other side of the coin when you first became mayor,” he explains to her. “I know I hurt you a lot because I slept with Danielle. Leading up to that point though, I was really feeling shut out by you. I barely saw you. You really put everything into your job, and that’s very admirable, but it did have it’s side effects.”

Daisy glares at him, shocked at his speech, “So it’s my fault you cheated with my sister? I was a workaholic so you turned your attention elsewhere?”

Chris walks up to her and puts his hands over her shoulders, “I’m not trying to fight with you or rehash our history. I’m just telling you that you don’t have to go down that road again. Especially with Andrew in our life now. He deserves all of our attention.”

“And I’m telling you I’m running for mayor again. I love my career too much not to at least give it another go. If I don’t get elected again, it’s all water under the bridge. But I will run again,” she replies to him, calming down. “I’m sorry I got so worked up. I ‘m just passionate about my job.”

“Okay. I do support you Daisy, don’t forget that. We’re on the same team about this.”

“Thanks Chris, I could use the help,” she winks over at him.

Scene Four -- Barcode

The club is busy as it is a weekend night. Crowd’s of young men and woman pack the dance floor as the latest Rihanna single is playing from the DJ booth. At a small table off to the side, JC and Andy sit side by side each enjoying a drink while Trenyce sits across from them. It has been far too long since Andy and Trenyce just had fun together so they decided to go to the bar tonight. Of course, JC came along since he’s dating Andy now.

“This is so much fun,” she says as she takes a drink of her vodka 7-Up combo. “It’s been so long since we’ve just had fun!”

“I agree!” Andy replies to her as he picks up his drink and cheers Trenyce.

“Oh my god, I love this song,” JC tells them as Britney Spears starts to play. “Do you want to go dance?” he asks Andy, looking at him. He is thrilled that he and Andy came out to the club with friends tonight. It seems like it has been far too long since they just had fun. A large part of that is JC’s fault, as he has been feeling insecure since Reese has come back into town and he overheard Reese admit that he still loves Andy.

“I think I’ll pass,” Andy replies to him. “You know Britney isn’t my favourite. I’ll be there once they play Madonna though!”

Trenyce laughs, “I’ll dance with you JC!”

“Awesome, let’s go!” JC says, giving Andy a quick kiss on the lips before getting up and heading over to the dance floor with Trenyce. Andy watches the two of them start moving to the beat of the song. He finishes his drink and sees that JC and Trenyce will probably be done their drinks by the time the song is over. He watches Trencye dancing for a second and realizes that she seems happy. He is so pleased with how far she has come with herself, going to school and being such a wonderful mother to Andrew. He stands up and walks over to the bar, planning on getting another round for him and his friends. He stops in his tracks though when he spots Reese approaching him.

“Hey, what are you doing here?” Reese asks coming up and immediately giving Andy a hug, unable to deny the fact that he thinks Andy looks hot in his tight white t-shirt.

Andy half hugs Reese back, semi conscious that he doesn’t want JC to see him hug his ex. “JC and Trenyce wanted to get out and have some fun, so we decided to come drinking and dancing. How about you?”

Reese smiles at Andy, excited to see him. “I just wanted to get out of the house. It’s weird being in my parents house and not have them there.”

“How are you holding up?”

“As well as to be expected, thanks for asking,” Reese tells him still eyeing Andy. “Hey, do you remember this song?” he asks as a Solange Knowles song starts playing.

Andy listens for a moment and smiles, “Yea, it was playing in Milwaukee when you were at the volleyball championships!”

“It was the first time we …” Reese begins to say, thinking about the first time he and Andy made love.

Andy stops him mid-sentence, clearly feeling uncomfortable with the topic, “I should go find JC and Trenyce. I hope you have a nice night.”

Andy turns to walk away, but Reese grabs his hand and spins Andy around. Andy looks at Reese and suddenly feels Reese’s lips on his own. Reese kisses him hard and passionately. Andy pulls away. “I can’t Reese, I’m with JC now.”

“Sorry,” Reese replies to him, still lusting after him. “I just miss you, I guess.”

“It’s okay,” Andy replies, trying to fight his own attraction to Reese. “I should go though.”

Reese watches Andy walk back over to his table as Trenyce and JC return from the dance floor. JC looks back to see what Andy was doing, but Reese has left already. JC smiles and leans in and gives Andy a quick kiss on the lips. “How was dancing?” Andy asks his boyfriend, knowing he can’t tell him what just happened with Reese.

Scene Five -- The Grave Yard

Kim stands under a tree in the grave yard, still dressed up as a hooker. She pulls out her compact from her small bag and checks her wig on more time. The short red-bob sits perfectly on her head and her heavy make up really is holding up. She looks nothing like her usual self, which is good if her plan is going to work.

She and Will have worked out their plan perfectly. She knows that he’s close by and watching her and when Ryan arrives it will complete the plan. She turns around and realizes that she’s standing next to Jackson’s tombstone. She looks down and puts her hand to the tombstone. This will be the final straw of ending her connection with the McQuillian family, she realizes. She smiles knowing that she has let these men control her for far too long.

She turns around when she hears footsteps coming. She sees Ryan approaching her. Although, he looks differently. He’s dressed in designer clothing head to toe. He even has some black Gucci sunglasses on, despite it being late at night. She wonders when he came into so much money, but she realizes that it’ll have to be asked later.

“Thanks for meeting me,” she smiles and says in a sexy voice that she just made up. She couldn’t use her real voice otherwise he would catch on that it is really Kim.

“How’d you get my number? I’ve never dealt with you before?” he asks coming up to her and pulling his sunglasses to the top of his head. He would remember all the hookers that he dealt too before, especially ones he sold too.

“A friend gave it to me. She said you were the best in the business. Do you have what I need?” Kim asks, still playing it cool.

“I do. Do you have cash? I only take cash,” he replies, still watching her every move.

She opens her purse and pulls out some hundred dollar bills. “This should cover it.”

He pulls out a small bag of cocaine and passes it over to Kim as he takes her money. “Thank you,” she smiles at him. “Oh and one more thing.”

“What’s that?” he asks as he puts the money in his pocket.

He’s stunned when Kim pulls off the wing and her long flowing hair comes out. “Gotchya!” she smiles him at.

“What the fuck? Kim?” he asks before he turns around and sees five police officers come rushing up to him.

“Ryan McQuillian you’re under arrest for drug possession,” Robbie yells coming up and hand cuffing Ryan. “And selling illegal substances.”

“You set me up? You BITCH!” he yells at Kim, shocked by what’s happening.

Kim laughs at him, “You deserve everything that is coming to you Ryan. Oh, and it wasn’t just me.”

“I helped,” Will reveals himself to Ryan, who gets even madder at the sight of Will.

“I can’t believe this!” Ryan yells as Robbie pushes him into the back of the police car.

“Are you okay?” Robbie asks Kim coming up to her after making sure Ryan is safe in the backseat.

“I’m fine Robbie. Everything went off without a hitch. Thanks for your help on this,” Kim replies, proud of her work to bring down Ryan.

“No, thank you,” Robbie tells her. “Will, do me a favour? Make sure she gets home safe.”

“Will do Robbie. Thanks,” Will tells him as Robbie rushes off to his car to drive Ryan to the police station. He turns his attention to Kim and hugs her. “I can’t believe we did it!”

“Believe it. That jerk is going to be put away for a long time,” Kim laughs.

“Let’s go home so you can change.”

“I’d love that.”

Scene Six -- Twin Peaks General Hospital

Helen lays in a hospital bed with an IV connected to her. She looks over at Adam, who is waiting with her for Craig to come back with her test results. She recalls how she had another nightmare about her baby being alive and getting agitated to the point that she fainted. Thankfully, Adam was there to get her to the hospital. She is eager to hear what Craig is going to tell her that’s wrong with her. She’s never fainted before and maybe it will also shed light on to her on-going dreams about her baby. As the year anniversary of her death approaches, she wishes that she would be able to let it go and try to lead a normal life. The dreams haunt her and she doesn’t know why.

“What are you thinking of? You look a million miles away,” Adam notes to his wife as he looks up at her, trying to mask his concern for Helen. He has never seen her so upset before as he did before she fainted.

Helen tries to fight off the tears in her eyes. “I just can’t stop thinking about my dreams Adam. Why can’t I let our baby go? Why can’t I just let her rest in peace?”

Adam moves over and sits on the side of the bed with Helen and grabs her hand. “I don’t know, but I swear to you, we will find out what’s going on. This is the first step. Maybe Craig can tell us what’s going on.”

“I hope so, I don’t know how much more of this I can take,” she admits to him as a tear falls from her cheek. “Thank you, by the way.”

“For what?”

“Being here with me.”

Adam sighs and looks at her. He wipes her tear and leans in and hugs her. “I’m always going to be here for you Helen. I love you, so much.”

“I love you too.”

Before he can reply, Craig enters the hospital room with his chart. “How are you feeling Helen?”

Helen wipes her eyes again from the tears. “Pretty good. I mean, I hope I don’t have to stay in here for too long.”

“What did you find out Doc?” Adam asks Craig.

“I’m afraid you do have to stay in here over night at least. I’d like to keep you for observation,” Craig tells them. He opens his file and then closes it again. “We found traces of a bizarre drug in your system. It looks like it’s been in your system for some time now. Have you been taking anything out of the ordinary?”

Helen shakes her head no quickly. “I can’t think of anything. I mean, the only thing I’ve been taking are the vitamins that Olivia gave me.”

“When did you stop taking those vitamins?” Craig asks her, trying to dig for more information.

“About a week ago. Maybe two. I ran out and I couldn’t get more from her because she … died,” Helen explains to him, still sensitive to the fact that Olivia recently passed.

“What exactly is in her system Craig? Surely, the vitamins that Olivia gave Helen wouldn’t give her this kind of reaction, would they?” Adam asks, folding his arms, shocked and upset that Helen has been drugged.

“That’s the thing, they aren’t vitamins. It’s a drug called Xphonda.”

“What is that?” Helen asks, stunned by what she is learning.

“It’s an experimental drug coming out of the UK,” Craig explains to them. “It’s to make people forget. It’s a memory loss pill,” Craig continues to tell them. “I actually had to do research on this because it’s nothing I’m familiar with, myself. The drug is very addictive, and this is why you fainted earlier Helen. Your body was reacting to not having a pill in a few weeks now.”

“This is unbelievable,” Helen gasps.

“Thank you doctor. So can Helen go home tomorrow?” Adam asks Craig, wanting to have some alone time with his wife

Craig nods to him. “Assuming she doesn’t have any spells over the night, she’ll be fine to go home.”

“Thank you,” he says as Craig leaves the room. “Damn Olivia!” Adam yells once they’re alone again, his eyes meeting hers.

Helen looks at her husband, “What would Olivia want me to forget so badly that she was drugging me?”

“Your past with her, helping her and Preston rob those banks would be my guess,” Adam replies to her, recalling what they learned from Madeline. “When did you first start taking any pills from her?”

Helen stops and thinks back to when she first became pregnant; Olivia gave her prenatal vitamins. “My god Adam, she gave me my prenatal vitamins. If it’s always been these pills, I’ve been drugged for about two years!”

“Which would explain why you were forgetting so much during your pregnancy. That bitch tried to ruin our lives! Our marriage!” he yells knowing that something was always up with Olivia. He just hates that this is how the truth had to come out and that it took this long.

Helen leans forward, “Come sit with me,” she calls him. He sits on the bed and they hug. “We can’t lose focus now. Without the drug in my system, maybe I’ll start to remember more. Who knows what else Olivia wanted me to forget. I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t beat yourself up, we have no one to blame here but Olivia. As soon as your out of the hospital Helen, we will work together to uncover all of her secrets,” Adam tells her, hugging her again. “I promise you, we’ll get to the bottom of everything.”
